After the loss of a beloved crew member teams try to push forward in his memory. The fleets navigate difficult weather as they make their way from Itajaí, Brazil to Newport, America.

After eight months of sailing around the world the race is extremely tight with only three points separating the top three teams. The crews make the second-to-last leg from Wales to Sweden as they head towards the big finish at The Hague.

The crews face the last marathon stage of the race in Leg 9 as they sail 3,300 nautical miles on the classic Atlantic Ocean crossing from Newport, USA to Cardiff in Wales.
