After the loss of a beloved crew member teams try to push forward in his memory. The fleets navigate difficult weather as they make their way from Itajaí, Brazil to Newport, America.

The fleets take off from the bustling city of Hong Kong, China and sail to Auckland, New Zealand. Before the race begins officials add a tropical storm exclusion zone where a cyclone had hit to the east of the Philippines.

After eight months of sailing around the world the race is extremely tight with only three points separating the top three teams. The crews make the second-to-last leg from Wales to Sweden as they head towards the big finish at The Hague.
