Polignano a Mare
Cliff diving returned to the popular Puglia town of Polignano a Mare as the divers prepared to pull out their peak performance after the 2010 World Series hit its stride and launched into the second half of a thrilling season. A crowd of 45,000 gathered to witness the adrenaline-pumping action unfold over the beautiful rugged cliffs, and watched as Gary Hunt's three-time winning streak was interrupted by a determined Artem Silchenko. The Russian was laser-focused on taking his first win of the year, and did not disappoint with a truly jaw-dropping performance above the Adriatic. Orlando Duque, never far from the top spot, took a respectable second place finish, with Gary Hunt picking up valuable championship points in third.
