Malcesine
The beautiful, picturesque town of Malcesine was the postcard-worthy cliff diving location that saw the second half of the 2011 season hit its stride. The Italian town welcomed an armada of motorboats, surfboards and 15,000 spectators on the surrounding beach as the world's best divers swooped and somersaulted from Scaliger Castle into Lake Garda's waters. The fifth stop of the season featured the closest battle for the top spot on the podium yet, with Gary Hunt emerging as the ultimate victor once again, ahead of Russia's Artem Silchenko and Czech diver Michal Navratil.
