Yalta
The sixth stop of the 2011 season saw the grand finale take place from Swallow's Nest castle in Yalta on the Crimean peninsula. Despite the World Series title being decided at the penultimate stop, Yalta still served up plenty of surprises. Artem Silchenko became a history maker when he broke a personal and a World Series record after taking a powerful and decisive event win by more than 50 points. Silchenko dominated the competition on the last day, keeping reigning World Series champion Gary Hunt at arms length by more than 50 points, securing second overall place in front of 15,000 spectators. Czech diver Michal Navratil finished thrd on the event podium, earning him a third place finish overall in the World Series rankings. "
