La Rochelle
The third season the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series reached its middway point at a familiar location, the historic port city of La Rochelle in France. Winds up to 37mph/60kmh buffeted the 12 divers as they performed amazing aerial manoeuvres from 27m. 70,000 spectators watched as reigning champion Gary Hunt led the field to take another decisive victory, increasing his lead to pull even further ahead in the overall rankings. Luxembourg's Alain Kohl made his first appearance on the podium in second place, while Michal Navratil finished in third.
