La Rochelle
Once again La Rochelle in France served up a sensational season opener for the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series in 2010, as reigning champion Orlando Duque returned to the sport to defend his title. The battle over the Bay of Biscay kicked off the 2010 World Series, with 50,000 spectators watched as the divers performed jaw-dropping manoeuvres from the historic Saint Nicholas Tower. This time around it was Gary Hunt who was victorious at the French venue, proving himself the diver to beat. He was followed onto the podium by Colombia's Orlando Duque and Kent de Mond of the USA.
